Dallas

A few weeks ago I found a great deal on airplane tickets from Denver to Dallas. It worked out perfectly because Ross had finals coming quickly and I would be able to sneak down to Dallas to see John and Cassandra while he studied. Madison and I went to Dallas for a week. We had a great time visiting with John, Cassandra and Drew. It was fun to see how different Drew was since we saw him in July. These pictures aren't in a good order but thats ok.
Madison and Drew enjoyed playing together. I was hoping that Madison would break the cycle and be nice to younger kids, but that didn't happen. She was a bully but they became good friends by the end of the trip.
Madison enjoyed playing basketball on Drew's Christmas present.
This is on the airplane. Madison was awesome on both flights. It was a huge relief that she behaved so well.
 Madison and Drew at Costco.
Madison was so happy to be outside again. She would stand by the door and say "I wanna go outside." It was pretty understandable too. She would just run all over the place and laugh and smile.
John had work off on Friday and we went to Grapevine to see the Gaylord Texan Resort. It decorated beautifully for Christmas. I was born in Grapevine so I'm always glad to go back.
Madison and I in front of the Christmas tree.
Madison loved pushing to stroller. She was good about sitting in it too.
John, me, Madison, Cassandra and Drew.
I love this picture of us.
Madison and Drew were often found playing at a little work bench that Drew has in his room. They played so well there. It was so cute to watch them together.
We also went to a park close to John and Cassandra's house. I loved the equipment that they had because there was some that was specifically for toddlers and younger kids.
I was surprised that this was Madison's favorite place to play.
 She also loved this thing.
Madison's hair is getting longer and I can't believe how curly it is. I love it. Anne says it is just like Ross' hair when he was younger.
 Drew and Madison.
Madison loved to give Drew hugs. It was cute but a little scary.
She loved to try on Cassandra's shoes.
 Drew the climber.
They were trying on Drew's hats. It was adorable.
We landed in Denver and stayed the night before we went to Laramie. We went to visit Emma at work right before we left to Laramie. It was fun to see her at work. I'm proud of how well she is doing at her job.
Madison was wearing my jacket in Colorado and I thought it was really cute.

The day after we got back from Laramie we left to go to Burlington. Ross starts working at Walgreen's in Cody tomorrow. He'll do that for about three weeks and then we'll head to Denver to spend some time with my family there. I am excited to celebrate Christmas with Madison I think that she will enjoy it a lot this year.

Thanksiversary

I figured that I better blog about the past few weeks before more exciting things happen. We had a fun visit in Burlington to spend Thanksgiving with Anne and Diana. The weekend before Thanksgiving we went to Denver to see my family. It was fun to see everyone.
Ross and Madison built a fort. There really wasn't enough room for me in there. I wasn't too disappointed though.
I made these star ornaments at a Super Saturday. We put Jolly Ranchers in a cookie cutter and then melted them in the oven at 350. I thought that they turned out really cute.
While I was in Denver I got to see Emma. I love this picture of us and I was glad we were able to go to Imperial Garden. It is the best Chinese food ever.
On our way to Burlington we stopped at Riverton and got a taco. Madison enjoyed hers a lot.
A few years ago I gave Diana a Napoleon Dynamite action figure that I received for Christmas or my birthday a few years ago. It is pretty sweet because it says funny phrases and such. Madison loved carrying it around and pressing the button. It was hilarious to me. I also love her adorable pink converse. I found them at Goodwill awhile ago and they finally fit!
Anne had a Jack in the Box for Madison to play with. She loved it. She got to the point where she would just press the button to get it to pop instead of cranking the handle. It was funny.
Madison and Diana in deep conversation. I love this picture.
Madison loves Diana so much. She was always trying to go into her room and follow her. It was cute.
Thanksgiving was our 4 year anniversary. It seems like each anniversary we have been able to celebrate with family and that has been nice. I'm glad that we can do that.
This is a horrible picture of me, but happy thanksiversary to us!
Diana, Ross, Madison and I.
On Thursday, Diana and I went to Walmart in Cody so that I could get some black Friday deals. We were very successful.
On Friday, we all went to Billings to get Christmas shopping done. It was fun. Anne donated two quarters so that Madison could ride this airplane car thing. She sat there for about two seconds before she got scared and started screaming. I was kind of surprised. The girl who didn't even blink in NYC when riding the Subway was scared of the toy at the mall? Crazy but I was glad I got this picture.
I took this picture of Madison before church today. I thought she looked so cute.
This picture shows her hair better. I can't believe how much hair she has and how curly it is.
This is our Christmas tree this year. We got new ornaments last year and I like them a lot better than the red ones we had last year.
We watched a movie in Burlington and Madison started dancing during the credits. I thought that it was adorable.
