Colorado Trip

Last Saturday, I went down to Colorado with my family. Madison and I flew down early in the morning then Ross drove down to meet us on Wednesday. It was so fun to see my family. All of my siblings were in town because Rachel was getting baptized.
Madison and I on the plane. She was so great on the plane! She woke up about 3 minutes before we landed.  Most people didn't even notice there was a baby on board.

My dad, Melodie and Rachel picked us up at the airport. We dropped Melodie off at work on the way then we went home to party! (Actually just pick up the house before John and Cassandra arrived.)

Then John and Cassandra arrived! I was so excited to see them because it had been awhile. They used to live down the street from us in Rexburg. We always did fun stuff with them until they moved to Texas. I couldn't wait to see them again! Cassandra loved Madison! They were instantly good friends.
I love this picture of Madison and Cassandra!
 John and Josie.
Another great part of the trip was that Madison finally got to meet her cousin Josie. They enjoyed talking to each other while they were on the blanket.
Madison and Josie with Opa. I think both of them got a little jealous of each other.
Ross and Madison during Reagan's birthday party. There was a big water fight before. Luckily Madison was hungry right before it started so we couldn't participate. I wasn't disappointed but it looked like they had fun.
Rachel and Madison
We discovered that the best time to enjoy Madison is during the morning. She would get up right before everyone went to work and Rachel went to camp. She would give the biggest smiles. It was adorable.

Will, Julie, Reagan, Lincoln and McKinley got to Colorado when Ross did. We hadn't seen them since Thanksgiving. It was awesome to see them again. I collected awesome pictures of Lincoln the whole trip. He is basically a little stud. I don't know any other 4-year-olds that wear Beats.
Lincoln was smiling like this (adorable) then Will told him to be tough. The result is below.

I know the rest of the picture is blurry but Lincoln is too cute.

 Emma, John and Cassandra.
On Friday night we had our sibling dinner. This was my favorite part of the whole trip. We went downtown to Maggiano's. It is an amazing Italian restaurant. We had a blast. Will was learning the basics of Snap Chat and taking interesting pictures to send to everyone of his friends.
Madison was pretty fussy during the meal. Thanks to Julie and Cassandra for helping us keep her quiet! Ross asked me to take her out and then they told the waitress about my birthday. I was shocked when she came with candles in the lemon Italian cookies. Everyone started singing happy birthday. I felt very loved from my family.
Cassandra, Emma and I found these pants at Burlington Coat Factory. We decided to be triplets for the day.

We had a great time in Colorado. It was so fun with all of the siblings to celebrate Rachel's baptism.

Phillip and Braidy sent Ross this shirt for his birthday. Ross enjoyed being twins with Janet. Janet enjoyed it a little bit also until I pulled the camera out.

My sister Emma came out to visit this past weekend. It was so great to see her. We got to spend a lot of time together talking and weeding the garden.

Madison has been making funny faces lately. She has been much more awake and alert. I love this picture of Ross. Madison and I put it in a frame for Ross for Father's Day. We also made him a book from Shutterfly. I have decided that Mother's Day and Father's Day seems to be when kids are the most difficult. Madison had a hard day on Mother's Day and Father's Day was extremely hard also. She normally is very quiet and well-behaved unless she is hungry or something is bothering her, but on Sunday she just started crying and crying. She cried for hours. It was difficult to say the least. She has established her "cry time." I guess at least its at a time when Ross is home.
 I just love her face.
We are still working on lifting that head up. She is doing great at it, but she hates tummy time.
We went to the Airport to pick up Renee from her mission in New Mexico. It was so exciting to see her. She looked great and gave a great homecoming talk. I was glad that I could say that I was at the airport for all of Tom and Patty's daughters that got picked up at the right time.
I caught Madison in Grandpa's chair. It was a lame attempt to try and end her crying time. Fail.

The other day Madison was napping in her chair. When I looked over, I saw that Madison found her thumb. Luckily, she left it in until I got the picture! I can't believe that she's a month old already!
She has been doing well and sleeping good. She wakes up about two times during the night.
Last week we didn't even take a family picture after Madison's blessing. I felt really silly for forgetting that so I told Ross that we needed to take a family picture after church today. I love the  beautiful dress that Madison is wearing. It is so cute!
Ross requested a picture of Madison and I.
I made this bow for Madison the other day. My visiting teacher brought me a craft book from the Six Sisters blog. They had this adorable felt bow in there! It was fun to make and very easy! It is super cute!

Madison's Blessing

Madison was blessed this past Sunday. It was great to have family come up for the blessing! Phillip and Braidy came up from Laramie with Brad and Stella. My mom and step dad came up from Colorado and my dad, step mom and sister Rachel also came up from Colorado. We were glad to celebrate Brad's birthday with them.
At first Brad wasn't really sure about his cousin Madison as you can tell by the look on his face. When I went to pick her up because they were going to feed the calf he put his arms over her and said "NO!!!" It was funny.

 My Dad, Madison and I.

Madison was not thrilled to be in any of these pictures. She was hungry and was very upset.

The complete Davidson family! Todd, Phillip, Mark, Ross, Janet, Madison and I, Anne, Braidy and Stella, Diana and Brad
 Dwight jumped in the picture!
John Spencer and my mom
 Rachel, Melodie, my Dad

Madison was really not thrilled to be there, but she was great during church!

Brad's special birthday cheesecake. He turned three on Sunday.
It took him a few tries to blow out the candles.

It was a beautiful thing to have Madison be blessed by Ross. When we put the white dress that I made she smiled so big. It rewarding to be a mother and I am so glad that Madison is here and very healthy! I can't believe that she will be a month old tomorrow. It seems like it has gone by so fast.

Madison Mabel Davidson

I have finally decided that I will be good at blogging. The last few months have been crazy to say the least. Here is a little review.

Ross and I both graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho.  I received a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Ross' was in Chemistry

We moved all of our stuff to Laramie, Wyoming with tons of help from Phillip and Braidy. Then we moved to Burlington, Wyoming for the summer so that Ross could begin working at Cody Labs.
Summer and Anne threw an incredible baby shower for me! It looked like it walked right out of pinterest!
And Ross turned 25!

Now here is the really exciting stuff! Early on May 6th I woke Ross up at 2:15. I wasn't sure but I thought that I was in labor. Neither of us could sleep after that. We waited and waited. At 3:15 my water broke. I decided to call the hospital because I didn't want to be sent home. They told me that I should come in immediately. We grabbed the hospital bag and slowly packed up movies and books because we figured we would be waiting for awhile. We finally left for the hospital at 3:45 a.m. We made it there in 25 minutes. (Its usually like a 45 minute drive) Ross loved speeding to Cody. We got into the hospital at 4:10 and got settled.  I was 5.5 cm. At 5:15 I was 8.5 cm. Madison was born at 6:13 a.m. on May 6th. It was incredibly fast! I couldn't believe it. I didn't have an epidural. I was excited about that because I had wanted to do that but I was nervous that I was too weak! Madison weighed 6 lbs. 10.5 oz. She was 20 inches long.

 Our first family picture!

Two 24-year-olds

On Monday night Ross came home from home teaching with giant grin on his face. I was a little concerned because this look only comes when a certain topic is brought up. I hardly mention the C-word (Celica) because he gets ideas that are a little wild and it kind of scares me.

Well, anyways the family that Ross home teaches decided to sell their 1988 Toyota Corolla.
Insert giant Ross grin and concerned Hannah face.

We bought the Corolla. It runs very well and gets 34 miles per gallon. This will be perfect if Ross has to drive to Rigby or Idaho Falls for an internship.

Ross and his dream machine.
Last week, I made cookies with Janet. We had a really good time. We took the plate to some friends and family around Rexburg. Nice apron JanSTAR#1!
We made candy cane cookies. They were difficult because the dough wasn't really firm. It was frustrating. I was glad Emma and Janet finished them.
The classics

Here are a few pictures from my trip to Dallas in November. This is in front of the Dallas temple with John and Cassandra!
This is a picture of me at the hospital that I was born at! It was pretty close to where John and Cassandra live. It was great to see them and fun to be in Dallas. I am glad that I was able to go.

Finally, school is over! We are so excited! On Friday, we went bowling. We bowled 5 games on the 4th game Ross got a 199! We were so excited that he beat his high of 198!

We are heading to Burlington this week and I can't wait! It seems like it has been so long since we have been there!

Weekend in Laramie

This week has been stressful!  We have finals next week and we took a surprise trip to Laramie, Wyoming. On Friday, Ross had an interview with the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. We were excited to see Phillip, Braidy, Brad and Stella. It was great to see them!
Here are some pictures from our trip

Brad thought that laying on the air mattress next to me was hilarious. I honestly have no idea why.

Two Cheesers. Brad and Phillip.

 Brad and Janet

We made gingerbread cookies for their ward party. We decorated some of them to look like us. It was fun. Thanks for the picture Braidy.

Ross and Stella

Janet and Brad again

Phillip, Stella, Janet, Brad, me and Ross before church. Thanks again Braidy.

We had a blast in Laramie. I am hoping that we move there!
Life will be less stressed after the 14th. Ross has lots of finals, but I only have final projects and they should be complete by Tuesday. I am excited for Christmas break because we are going to both Wyoming and Colorado.
In other news, I am pregnant. I am due in May and we are very excited.
