Rachel's Baptism

On Saturday morning, we went out to take family pictures. It was fun. Joe snapped about 10 pictures of us. It was fun to get pictures of everyone together. It felt like it had been awhile.

I had to get a picture of the four of us together. Mary and I were due on the same day. Madison is about two weeks older than Josie. I am so glad that they will have cousins the same age! That will be so fun!

We went to lunch with my best friend Becca on Saturday also. It was GREAT to see her! She is getting ready to get married at the end of this month! I am so excited for her! Becca was thrilled to meet Madison.
On Saturday evening Rachel was baptized. She looked beautiful in her white dress. I am so excited for Rachel. She is an excellent sister.
Ross and Madison during the pictures. Madison really gave it to Ross during the whole baptism and the 4 hours after the baptism. It was a long day, but it was still fun to celebrate with the family.
My dad forgot to bring towels. John and Cassandra went back to get them. John was pretty much the hero of the day! I love this picture. He was running to the rescue!
This is the whole family! It was amazing that everyone was able to come back for the weekend.
Rachel and the brothers. She didn't want them to pick her up but it made an adorable picture. Sadly I didn't get a shot of Rachel with the sisters.
Rachel and Dad. She looks so beautiful!
Rachel and Emma. It was fun to celebrate Rachel's baptism. Afterward Dad and Melodie hosted a BBQ. It was fun to have lots of friends come. I enjoyed seeing some old friends from our ward. It was too bad Madison was being a little bit of a stinker. She was very tired of traveling.
It was a great trip. I am glad to be back in Burlington. This week we have the Davidson family reunion and then the 24th celebration the next weekend!

Colorado Trip

Last Saturday, I went down to Colorado with my family. Madison and I flew down early in the morning then Ross drove down to meet us on Wednesday. It was so fun to see my family. All of my siblings were in town because Rachel was getting baptized.
Madison and I on the plane. She was so great on the plane! She woke up about 3 minutes before we landed.  Most people didn't even notice there was a baby on board.

My dad, Melodie and Rachel picked us up at the airport. We dropped Melodie off at work on the way then we went home to party! (Actually just pick up the house before John and Cassandra arrived.)

Then John and Cassandra arrived! I was so excited to see them because it had been awhile. They used to live down the street from us in Rexburg. We always did fun stuff with them until they moved to Texas. I couldn't wait to see them again! Cassandra loved Madison! They were instantly good friends.
I love this picture of Madison and Cassandra!
 John and Josie.
Another great part of the trip was that Madison finally got to meet her cousin Josie. They enjoyed talking to each other while they were on the blanket.
Madison and Josie with Opa. I think both of them got a little jealous of each other.
Ross and Madison during Reagan's birthday party. There was a big water fight before. Luckily Madison was hungry right before it started so we couldn't participate. I wasn't disappointed but it looked like they had fun.
Rachel and Madison
We discovered that the best time to enjoy Madison is during the morning. She would get up right before everyone went to work and Rachel went to camp. She would give the biggest smiles. It was adorable.

Will, Julie, Reagan, Lincoln and McKinley got to Colorado when Ross did. We hadn't seen them since Thanksgiving. It was awesome to see them again. I collected awesome pictures of Lincoln the whole trip. He is basically a little stud. I don't know any other 4-year-olds that wear Beats.
Lincoln was smiling like this (adorable) then Will told him to be tough. The result is below.

I know the rest of the picture is blurry but Lincoln is too cute.

 Emma, John and Cassandra.
On Friday night we had our sibling dinner. This was my favorite part of the whole trip. We went downtown to Maggiano's. It is an amazing Italian restaurant. We had a blast. Will was learning the basics of Snap Chat and taking interesting pictures to send to everyone of his friends.
Madison was pretty fussy during the meal. Thanks to Julie and Cassandra for helping us keep her quiet! Ross asked me to take her out and then they told the waitress about my birthday. I was shocked when she came with candles in the lemon Italian cookies. Everyone started singing happy birthday. I felt very loved from my family.
Cassandra, Emma and I found these pants at Burlington Coat Factory. We decided to be triplets for the day.

We had a great time in Colorado. It was so fun with all of the siblings to celebrate Rachel's baptism.
