Colorado

We finally made it back to Laramie!.. and then we left again. We went down to Colorado after we got back from Burlington so we could see Will, Julie and the kids. They were in town for Labor day weekend. It was great to see them. We were also able to go to the temple together. It was nice to do work for our family. It also inspired me to get working on more family history. I was glad that we could make it down and see everyone.
John, my Mom, Ross and I front of the temple. I went to grab my camera from the car and Will, Julie and Emma had already taken off. It was great to go to the temple together. I like the way this picture turned out.

Madison and McKinley. I can't believe how much they look alike. I think they both enjoyed sitting by each other and laughing. They were goofy.
Reagan, Madison, Rachel and McKinley. Reagan loved playing with Madison. It was so sweet. She was a good helper. I loved seeing her again.
Lincoln and Reagan. I think Reagan looks so much like Emma in this picture. Lincoln is a funny kid. I was impressed by his basketball skills.

I wish that I would have taken more pictures of the family together. It was great to see everyone.

Classy Car Auctions

This weekend was our last weekend in Burlington. Ross was planning on going to a car auction in Cody. Since it rained on Friday night and Saturday Todd could go too. Instead of letting them enjoy all the fun Diana and I tagged along. It was a neat experience. I am glad that we went because Ross and I have talked about going to one for awhile.
Diana and Madison are great friends. I am glad that they love to play together. It is funny that Madison always like mimic things that Diana does.
 Madison cheeser, Diana and Ross.
Madison and Diana laying in Grandma's room.
Sitting on the couch together. I love all of these pictures.

On Thursday, Anne watched Madison for us so Ross and I could go irrigating with Diana and Todd. It was really fun to  sit in the truck with Diana while Ross and Todd worked.

Todd refused to be a part of the group selfie.
Ross, Todd and Junior getting ready for the car auction.
Diana and I enjoying the experience. It was funny to me to see the group of people that this event attracted. I thought that it was a weird mix of people, but it seemed like it was successful and they had some nice cars around.
The group of people at the auction. It was cool to be there. I was very cautious about raising hand or nodding. Luckily I didn't accidentally bid on something.
 Ross, Diana, Madison and Todd.
We had a great time going out on Saturday. I am glad that we have been able to be in Burlington with Anne, Diana and Todd. I wish that we didn't have to leave because it is so fun to be here with them.

This weekend we had some fun visitors. Anne's brother Wayne came out to visit and he brought Phillip and Bradford along. Madison was excited to see Brad. She missed him a lot.
The kids watching cartoons with Diana. Madison was hugging and kissing Bradford during it and he kept pushing her away. I thought that it was pretty funny since normally its the other way around.
Madison and Diana in the castle.
Madison loves to play the piano.

Getting the car ready for Wayne to head out. On Friday Wayne, Phillip, Brad, Anne and Ross went to Yellowstone. I think they had a good time.
Anne and Wayne.

Todd reading to Brad.
Family picture. Tyler was in town for a few days so Todd and Ross brought him up to visit with us. It was nice to meet him.

Life has been pretty uneventful here since then. Anne and Diana have both started school so it is pretty unexciting here. Ross finished his rotations today. I am excited that he will be finished with those.

West Yellowstone

Last weekend, Ross, Anne, Madison and I drove through Yellowstone to go to West Yellowstone and visit the Playmill Theater. I have heard about the Playmill theater a lot because I had a friend from college that worked there during the summers with her family. It was great to go and see it. It was a fun atmosphere. I loved being in West Yellowstone again because Ross and I would drive through there a lot during the summers when we would drive in between Burlington and Rexburg.
It was also fun to see an old neighbor from Rexburg out there. We had a great time! I am so glad we were able to go.
Madison and I on the trip there. She was so good.
This is my favorite picture. I love Yellowstone. We are so lucky to have been through there as much as we have.
Ross getting ready to yell at some tourists for stopping for a buffalo.
I was technically a tourist so I had to get some pictures.
 They were tourists also.
On the way home we saw a double rainbow.
Madison loves shoes! She loves to wear Grandma's shoes all around the house.
She also loves cheese. The other day she was sitting on Ross' lap and grabbed a handful of cheese off of the plate and ate it all.

Today, Craig Johnson, the author of the Longmire books, came to the school in Burlington. I wish I could have been there longer, but it was really interesting. It was fun to hear his stories and I am excited to read the books. Madison enjoyed clapping for him and eating watermelon.
