Phillip and Braidy sent Ross this shirt for his birthday. Ross enjoyed being twins with Janet. Janet enjoyed it a little bit also until I pulled the camera out.

My sister Emma came out to visit this past weekend. It was so great to see her. We got to spend a lot of time together talking and weeding the garden.

Madison has been making funny faces lately. She has been much more awake and alert. I love this picture of Ross. Madison and I put it in a frame for Ross for Father's Day. We also made him a book from Shutterfly. I have decided that Mother's Day and Father's Day seems to be when kids are the most difficult. Madison had a hard day on Mother's Day and Father's Day was extremely hard also. She normally is very quiet and well-behaved unless she is hungry or something is bothering her, but on Sunday she just started crying and crying. She cried for hours. It was difficult to say the least. She has established her "cry time." I guess at least its at a time when Ross is home.
 I just love her face.
We are still working on lifting that head up. She is doing great at it, but she hates tummy time.
We went to the Airport to pick up Renee from her mission in New Mexico. It was so exciting to see her. She looked great and gave a great homecoming talk. I was glad that I could say that I was at the airport for all of Tom and Patty's daughters that got picked up at the right time.
I caught Madison in Grandpa's chair. It was a lame attempt to try and end her crying time. Fail.

The other day Madison was napping in her chair. When I looked over, I saw that Madison found her thumb. Luckily, she left it in until I got the picture! I can't believe that she's a month old already!
She has been doing well and sleeping good. She wakes up about two times during the night.
Last week we didn't even take a family picture after Madison's blessing. I felt really silly for forgetting that so I told Ross that we needed to take a family picture after church today. I love the  beautiful dress that Madison is wearing. It is so cute!
Ross requested a picture of Madison and I.
I made this bow for Madison the other day. My visiting teacher brought me a craft book from the Six Sisters blog. They had this adorable felt bow in there! It was fun to make and very easy! It is super cute!

Madison's Blessing

Madison was blessed this past Sunday. It was great to have family come up for the blessing! Phillip and Braidy came up from Laramie with Brad and Stella. My mom and step dad came up from Colorado and my dad, step mom and sister Rachel also came up from Colorado. We were glad to celebrate Brad's birthday with them.
At first Brad wasn't really sure about his cousin Madison as you can tell by the look on his face. When I went to pick her up because they were going to feed the calf he put his arms over her and said "NO!!!" It was funny.

 My Dad, Madison and I.

Madison was not thrilled to be in any of these pictures. She was hungry and was very upset.

The complete Davidson family! Todd, Phillip, Mark, Ross, Janet, Madison and I, Anne, Braidy and Stella, Diana and Brad
 Dwight jumped in the picture!
John Spencer and my mom
 Rachel, Melodie, my Dad

Madison was really not thrilled to be there, but she was great during church!

Brad's special birthday cheesecake. He turned three on Sunday.
It took him a few tries to blow out the candles.

It was a beautiful thing to have Madison be blessed by Ross. When we put the white dress that I made she smiled so big. It rewarding to be a mother and I am so glad that Madison is here and very healthy! I can't believe that she will be a month old tomorrow. It seems like it has gone by so fast.

Madison Mabel Davidson

I have finally decided that I will be good at blogging. The last few months have been crazy to say the least. Here is a little review.

Ross and I both graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho.  I received a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Ross' was in Chemistry

We moved all of our stuff to Laramie, Wyoming with tons of help from Phillip and Braidy. Then we moved to Burlington, Wyoming for the summer so that Ross could begin working at Cody Labs.
Summer and Anne threw an incredible baby shower for me! It looked like it walked right out of pinterest!
And Ross turned 25!

Now here is the really exciting stuff! Early on May 6th I woke Ross up at 2:15. I wasn't sure but I thought that I was in labor. Neither of us could sleep after that. We waited and waited. At 3:15 my water broke. I decided to call the hospital because I didn't want to be sent home. They told me that I should come in immediately. We grabbed the hospital bag and slowly packed up movies and books because we figured we would be waiting for awhile. We finally left for the hospital at 3:45 a.m. We made it there in 25 minutes. (Its usually like a 45 minute drive) Ross loved speeding to Cody. We got into the hospital at 4:10 and got settled.  I was 5.5 cm. At 5:15 I was 8.5 cm. Madison was born at 6:13 a.m. on May 6th. It was incredibly fast! I couldn't believe it. I didn't have an epidural. I was excited about that because I had wanted to do that but I was nervous that I was too weak! Madison weighed 6 lbs. 10.5 oz. She was 20 inches long.

 Our first family picture!
